Zilker is a mix. Original bungalows and cottages with porches sit next to new two-story modern homes with flat or shed roofs and clean, boxy lines. Each needs its own approach.
On a bungalow, we light the porch, the gables and the front door, and maybe the big tree out front. On a modern home, a single crisp line of warm white along the roof edge or parapet can look sharper than a busy display.
Some modern homes have long horizontal lines and few gables, so the display is about precision rather than coverage. We measure each run so the light stops exactly at the corners.
Working on small lots near the park
Lots in Zilker are compact and streets can be busy, especially in December. Our crew works carefully in tight side yards and keeps ladders and equipment tidy while we install.
Big pecans and oaks are common here, so we sometimes come out in person when trees block the satellite view of the roof.
We also keep in mind that December evenings bring extra visitors walking to the park, so we work efficiently and leave sidewalks and drives clear when we are done each day.

How pricing works for Zilker homes
Zilker is about 2 miles southwest of downtown, along Barton Springs Road. Our packages are Basic at $500 to $1,200 for drip edge and soffit, Advanced at $900 to $2,500 adding ridge caps and peaks, and Gingerbread at $1,500 to $3,500 adding valleys, windows and doors, wreaths and column wraps.
We quote from satellite imaging when we can. Payment is in full before install, by cash or card.
If trees or a new build make the satellite image unclear, we come out to measure in person. Wreaths and column wraps can be added to any package.
Holiday light installers in Zilker who handle the takedown
Zilker homes rarely have much storage, and garages are small or missing. That is a big reason the rental model fits here: we own the lights, so there are no boxes to store between seasons.
We install commercial-grade LED strands custom-fit to your house, set a solar timer that comes on at dark, and maintain the display if a section goes out. After the holidays, our crew takes it all down and stores it in our warehouse.
Designs are approved in writing before we order materials, and changes after approval may cost extra and delay the install, so it pays to settle colors and extras up front.
